In April 2002 the Old School House in Blakedown, Kidderminster was re-designed and renovated to provide a premier pre-school and out of school care facility.

Blue Hoots is registered with OFSTED and our Inspection was in August 2023 the outcome was GOOD. Blue Hoots has also taken part in the Early childhood Environment Rating Scale, known as ‘ECERS’ with a good outcome, we also have periodic environmental health inspections and

regular fire drills.

Blue Hoots offers a range of sessions for children from 3 months to 5 years. We encourage parents’ to use minimum of 2 days per week as it has been proven to make separation anxiety easier. We allocate funding between the hours of 7:30am-5:30pm term time only for all children in the Caterpillar, Bumblebee and Ladybird room and between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm in Pre School. Additional hours are charged at an hourly rate of £8.00 per hour
